Collection: Flexible Moss Tiles

The Nordic Moss flexible tile is hand made. The very best quality moss pieces are used in the manufacturing of this tile; the moss pieces have a minimum length of 70mm, which makes up only 6 to 8% of the natural harvest. The tile has a very thick and luscious texture glued to a thin backing, and it has a natural overhang to ensure that the mounted tiles create a smooth connection.

The flexible moss tiles are available in 5 different textures:

1. Classic - classic reindeer moss tile

2. Scene - combination of reindeer moss and flat moss

3. Sigh - a tile representing the forest floor

4. Serenity - flat moss 

5. Silhouette - a tile representing cushion moss

We recommend that the flexible tile be used to create a full accent wall. The soft backing of the tile ensures an easy application to both flat and curved surfaces.

Fixing the tiles to a surface is quick and simple by utilising any of these application methods:

- double sided tape

- strips of Velcro

-  quick-set glue

or stapled if the surface is penetrable.

The flexible tiles are available in the colours shown on our colour-sheet under 'Loose Moss'.

Please note: We do not keep stock of the tiles (see reasons below) and the prices are based on sea-freight and on the current exchange rate (R17,5 = 1€). The moss tiles are specifically made to order for each order. As the moss is a natural product, slight differences are possible during the organic dying process. Each order is therefore made of the same colour batch to ensure a natural blending. The lead-times for delivery are approximately:

- Air-freight:  approximately 4 weeks

- Sea-freight: between 2 - 3 months (due to the pandemic delivery times can vary - please enquire with us for current details).

Reasons for not keeping stock:

1. We make the tiles on order to ensure the vey best quality

2. The reindeer moss for the tiles are dyed in organic pigments and we recommend that an order comes from the same batch as very little nuances in colour could be possible between batches (as is the case also with wall paper)

3. Due to the volatility of the South African Rand against the Euro, we want to make sure you get the lowest possible price (as it is likely the Rand will improve against the Euro after the Corona crises subdues).
